Fees and Charges for
Services as a Garden Designer

Design Fees

Although hard to calculate in advance and without assessing a project, my fees as a Garden Designer start from about £375.00 for small gardens.

This is for a presentation plan of the design which will cover the layout of the garden and the materials to be used.

It will also show the key planting, these are the plants or areas of planting that are integral to the structure of the garden and the feature plants that hold the design together. It does not include an extensive detailed planting plan.

For larger projects the cost will depend entirely on the size and complexity of the project.

Larger Landscaping schemes

These usually require a much more comprehensive set of plans and specifications. Such as;

Garden Design Construction drawing-plan view
Garden Design Construction drawing-cross section(s)
Garden Design Planting plan sometimes in layers
Garden Design Presentation drawing
Site Services plan ie. electrics, drainage, lighting, water etc.

in any combination or variations of the above. The cost of these can only be given based on each individual project.
